9 Mile Legacy, Saskatoon Fantastic and the Broadway Theatre dunks you back in to the bloody depths of Camp Crystal Lake for another Friday the 13th edition of DRUNKEN CINEMA. This chapter of the F13 saga finds our anti-hero JASON VOORHEES as an awkward fasion victim navigating a crippling oediple complex… you might need a cocktail or four for this one. Peak 80's slasher absurdity that does for burlap what Psycho did for showers.
Before the mayhem begins we will be hosting a CAMP COUNCELOR CORPSE CONTEST and awarding the most creatively maimed/gored/dispatched attendees with prizes! As is tradition, Jason Vorhees will be stalking the premesis, so this will be photo op central!
The second entry in the long-running horror series focuses on a group of teenage would-be counselors converging on Camp Crystal Lake for training under the tutelage of head counselor Paul (John Furey). Inevitably, Paul relates the story of Jason Voorhees (Warrington Gillette), a boy who ostensibly drowned at the camp and whose mother murdered a group of counselors in revenge. No one takes the tale seriously until a very much alive Jason begins gruesomely eliminating people.
