We suspended operations at the Broadway Theatre on Monday March 16th, and laid off all staff at that time. In the interest of your Broadway coming back strong – whenever there is an “all-clear” given – this was the best strategy.

We kindly ask that you refrain from emailing/calling/stopping by until further notice. THERE ARE NO STAFF at the Broadway now or for the foreseeable future. We are lucky to have 1-2 staffers who come in on a volunteer basis as needed, for very limited hours.

If you want to keep up on us at this time, please check as any changes to our event calendar will be there, and we spend volunteer time updating our social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) periodically.

IF you have tickets for an event that is now (or will be) rescheduled – your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date! We appreciate your commitment to your favourite artists. If you cannot make the rescheduled date and would like a refund, keep your ticket and we will process once we reopen.

IF you have tickets to a show that is cancelled: we will make those events our priority to notify ticket buyers, and to process refunds if desired.

A Big Request For You

IF you are in a position to get a refund, we are asking you to consider donating that amount to your Community-Owned Broadway Theatre. Due to the nature of Covid19 and the response to it in Saskatchewan, it is UNLIKELY your Broadway will fully reopen until sometime in 2021.

This will mean your Broadway Theatre will have ~ 1 year of closure and no ability to generate revenues. We still have to cover insurance, utilities and other expenses to keep the building legal, safe and ready for reopening. If we refunded all tickets currently sold at once, it would make a huge, negative impact on the Broadway – and reduce our chances of eventually reopening.

If you are able and interested in making your ticket refund into a donation – please email or call 306.652.6556 and leave a message. Tell us your name, and the show you had tickets for.

We sincerely thank you for considering this option. We want to make it to the other side of this time, and we hope to avoid emergency fundraising.
